New CEO and 8 million in new capital

October 17, 2023

The travel cloud gears up expansion in Europe. SaaS company Resemolnet, which develops an AI-powered business system for the travel industry, is raising SEK 8 million in a new round of financing and at the same time has appointed Karin Whitlock as its new CEO.

The new capital will come from both existing and new investors and will be used to accelerate the company's growth in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe.

“Getting the continued confidence of our investors is a clear acknowledgement of the journey we are making,” says Chairman of the Board Fredric Gunnarson.
At the same time, the company is strengthening its management with Karin Whitlock, who took over as CEO in February. She has
long experience in growth journeys in tech and business development and is now taking over the baton from
founder Einar Halldin.

Previously, she has worked for SEB, Nordnet and Bisnode.

“I am extremely proud to be joining the Travel Cloud at this exciting stage. Travel Cloud has a product with the potential to change the playing field for Europe's travel operators — an industry poised for digital transformation. Together with the team, I look forward to scaling up our business and helping our customers streamline and future-proof their businesses,” says Karin Whitlock.

Travel Cloud offers a cloud-based platform that automates bookings and administration for
small and medium-sized travel companies. The solution will reduce costs and improve the customer experience —
something the company believes is crucial as the travel industry enters a new digital era.

“Bringing in Karin as CEO and at the same time bringing in new capital gives us exactly the boost we need to realize our vision. This is a really exciting location for Resemolnet and for the entire industry,” says Einar Halldin.
