New CEO and 8 million in new capital
October 17, 2023

Vaylo accelerates its expansion in Europe. SaaS company Resemolnet, which develops an AI-driven travel system for the travel industry, raises SEK 8 million in a new round of financing and at the same time appoints Karin Whitlock as new CEO.
The new capital comes from both existing and new investors and will be used to accelerate the company's growth in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe.
- "Receiving continued confidence from our investors is a clear acknowledgment of the journey we are on," says Chairman Fredric Gunnarson.
At the same time, the company is strengthening its management team with Karin Whitlock, who took over as CEO in February. She has
extensive experience of growth journeys in tech and business development and now takes over the baton from
founder Einar Halldin.
Previously, she has worked for SEB, Nordnet and Bisnode.
- "I am extremely proud to be joining Resemolnet at this exciting stage. Resemolnet has a product with the potential to change the playing field for Europe's travel operators - an industry that is ready for digital transformation. Together with the team, I look forward to scaling up our business and helping our customers streamline and future-proof their business," says Karin Whitlock.
Resemolnet offers a cloud-based platform that automates bookings and administration for
small and medium-sized travel companies. The solution aims to reduce costs and improve the customer experience -
something the company believes is crucial as the travel industry enters a new digital era.
- Bringing Karin in as CEO and at the same time raising new capital gives us exactly the boost we need to realize our vision. This is a really exciting time for Resemolnet and for the entire industry," says Einar Halldin.
